Hi, there!
I’m Ayaka Hori, the head of Tutoring School Akimoriya.
I attended public schools from elementary through high school in Japan.
While studying at Nanzan University in Japan, I found myself thinking:
“I want to be able to have everyday conversations in English!”
“I want to see more of the world!”
So, I decided to study abroad in Australia.
Originally, I planned to attend a language school for just a year—
but I ended up transferring to a local university.
So my academic path is a bit unique 🙂
I successfully graduated from the University of Wollongong in Australia,
and later spent about 5 years living in Malaysia.
Now, utilizing my experience of living abroad, I provide bilingual (English & Japanese) academic support for children living in Japan who come from foreign backgrounds, children attending schools where classes are conducted in English, and children living overseas.
