In Japan, attending elementary and junior high school is mandatory under the education system.
Also, many students also go on to high school and university.
In a way, studying has become something “expected” or “normal.”
And because it’s so normal, many students may never stop to think about why they are studying.
I believe the reason for studying is different for everyone.
Here’s how I see it:
“To achieve your dreams. To become the person you want to be.”
For example, imagine a student who says, “I want to be a pilot someday!”
So, what does it take to become a pilot?
They would need to research what qualifications are required, and then start taking small steps—doing what they can now—to move towards that goal.
In this way, I hope students will gain the strength to soar towards their dreams through studying.
